After beating its original goal earlier this month of raising 20,000 yuan to fund 25 cataract operations via Orbis, maovember has poked past its revised goal of 80,000 yuan and 100 surgeries.

With donations from CHEERS, Mashup and Great Leap Brewery over the past few days, plus pin sales, the maovember total is now 80,242 yuan. With events still on the slate, there is time to fund even more surgeries before this year’s campaign comes to a close.
