Carl Setzer of Great Leap Brewery offered to fund two cataract surgeries for maovember for a total of 1600 yuan. The offer came on Halloween, even before our launch party, and meant a nice start to the campaign. Given Setzer’s busy schedule brewing beer and my own equally busy slate drinking it, we only managed a confab yesterday in order to process said donation. There is a photo of that exchange above as well, for pure entertainment purposes, some photos from the Great Leap Halloween party, most of which some guy dressed up as Super Mario managed to dominate.
